Bike the North Branch Trail - CANCELLED


Date: Saturday, July 11 2026
Meet at 8:45 am and promptly depart at 9:00 am from the parking lot (Blue Star Memorial Woods) on the south side of Lake St and west of Harms Rd at the North Branch Trail at 8:45am. Bike North to the Chicago Botanic Gardens where we'll get refreshments. Ride length will be 20 miles or longer as you prefer. 

All participants must abide by the LPSC Cycling Policies

NOTE: If you need Bike prep assistance/maintenance help, then contact bike coordinator and arrive 30 minutes early.   Proper tire pump pressure and seat height can vastly improve the ease and speed of your ride.  TIP: Poorly inflated tires is the most common hindrance to easy riding, so get them pumped up the day prior, don't wait.  Your tire pressure is printed right on the tire.  Skinny- 95 lbs. min., Cross and Mountain- 65 lbs. min.  "Hard as a rock.. “

If you're unsure of any meeting location, then please call the bike coordinator and leave extra time so not to make everybody wait. We encourage everyone to come early and see our coordinator.
