THE FOLLOWING LPSC TRIPS/CANCELLATION POLICIES apply to 2026 Trips.

Please read the entire form.   All trip participants must agree to the following policies in order to participate on a trip.

Early Bird (E/B): Early Bird pricing ends on the early bird date or after 20 sign-ups, whichever is sooner.  (Crested Butte and Telluride are the exceptions as there are only 16 and 15 early bird spots respectively.)  To be eligible for the Early Bird pricing a trip participant must pay at least $500 (Vail = $1000) per our sign-up payment procedures and the balance must be paid in full by the early bird date.  Payments received after the required due dates will result in regular pricing.  The  Early Bird due dates are as follows: Vail (8/31/25), Lake Tahoe Heavenly (9/15/25), Crested Butte (9/30/25),  and Telluride (10/15/25).

Deposit for "Regular" Price trips:  Trip participant must pay a deposit for each trip upon signup as follows: Vail $1,000, Lake Tahoe- Heavenly $855, Crested Butte $800 and Telluride $1,311.  Failure to pay the deposit may result in trip cancellation.

Payment Process:
Zelle payments are free and have no convenience fees.
Any payments made by check are subject to a convenience fee of $25.
Any payments made by credit card are subject to a convenience fee of 3.0% of Total/Estimated Total Trip package excluding Lift Passes.

Please Note: There is no link on our Website to initiate a Zelle payment or Check payment from your bank.
If you want to pay by Zelle or Check then complete the following:
After you have selected all your trip activities, acknowledged our policies and signed our liability waiver, the system will ask you to complete the registration.  After clicking on the "Complete Registration" button a dialogue box will appear stating, " Your registration has been saved. Please select your payment options below."   You can ignore this message and click on the "OK" button.  Next, GO to the bottom of the page and click on the "Pay later" button.   Another dialogue box will appear stating,  "You have elected not to pay your pending charges immediately.  Please note that your transaction(s) will not be complete until payment is received using one of the payment methods. "  Click on the "OK" button and log off the website.

Next please note that this year we have changed our Zelle payments process to improve efficiencies in our Treasury.  As a result, during the sign up process you will be asked to provide the phone number or e-mail address associated with your Zelle Account.  Within two days of signing up for a trip you will be sent a Zelle payment request from PAYLPSC@GMAIL.COM  Then you will have a day to accept and fulfill the payment request or risk losing your spot on the trip.   The Treasurers will also send you a Zelle payment request on the date that your second and final payment is due.  Again you will have a day to accept and fulfill the payment request or risk losing your spot on the trip.   If you do not receive the Zelle request within 2 days of sign up or when your final payment is due, then e-mail the Treasurers at Treasurer@lincolnparkskiclub.org and CC the Trips Director at Trips@lincolnparkskiclub.org.

If you prefer to pay the entire balance in advance, then please e-mail our Treasurers and CC our Trips Director.

If you accidentally pay by Credit Card then you will be charged the Credit Card Convenience fee.  There is absolutely no way to reverse this charge.  Only click on the "Submit payment now" button if you intend to pay by Credit Card.

Cancellations: The trip participants will have until the Early Bird date to cancel their trip for a full refund.  After that date there will be a $125 minimum fee for any trip cancellation.  Any further charges up to and including the full price of the trip that is incurred by the ski club as a result of a cancellation will not be refundable.  Lincoln Park Ski Club will make every effort to refund as much of the cost of the trip that has been paid as possible.  We highly recommend trip insurance.

Price ChangesAny government, airline or bus line mandates for additional charges will be the responsibility of the trip participant.  This includes any foreign currency fluctuations, future fuel surcharges, passenger facility charges, transportation taxes or airport pick up fees that take effect or that increase after the signing of the Club's contract for the ski trip.  Additional charges will be assessed accordingly and collected by the trip leader as an agent of the ski club.  Baggage check and handling fees are the responsibility of the trip participant.  Failure to pay any additional charges if requested may result in trip cancellation.

Membership Requirement: All trip participants must be members in good standing of the Lincoln Park Ski Club for the current season.

Qualification: Trip participants to destinations outside of the United States must be in possession of a valid United States passport or valid travel documents from their native country.

Trip Deviations: LPSC markets and sells this trip as-is.  All trip deviations that are not included with the trip are the responsibility of the trip participant.  This includes all costs and planning for additional flights, additional lodging, adding/subtracting days, additional ground transportation, meals and any other cost not included with the marketed ski trip.  Showing up late at the airport is considered a trip deviation and may result in additional costs to the trip participant.  Trip participants may use frequent flier miles instead of purchasing the air portion of the trip, but if they do so they will not be included in the Club’s group ticket.  Bedding and roommate configurations for a trip are not guaranteed.  LPSC reserves the right to assign rooms and roommates at the discretion of the trip leader.

Anti-Harassment policy:  The Board of Directors of the Lincoln Park Ski Club (LPSC) is committed to providing an environment that is free of harassment with respect to any member or guest of LPSC, including but not limited to racial, gender, age, disability, ethnic or personal harassment, and where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. The Board recognizes the rights of members and guests to participate in an environment free of harassment and expects all members, guests and the Board to work jointly to achieve that goal.  In that regard, the Board may take appropriate action in the case of any member or guest who engages in any form of harassment.  For more information on this topic please read our Anti Harassment policy.
