LPSC's Ski Trip Detailed Payment Instructions:
READ THE PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS BELOW VERY CAREFULLY, IN ORDER TO AVOID UNWANTED FEES. WE CANNOT REVERSE CREDIT CARD FEES ONCE THEY ARE INCURRED.
We offer 3 methods of payments:
1) Payments by Zelle are not subject to any convenience fees.
2) Payments by Credit Card are subject to approximately 3.0% Convenience fee of the total trip package excluding Lift passes. *
3) Payments by Check are subject to a Convenience Fee of $25. (See trips details for payment and mailing instructions.)
* If any portion of your trip is paid by credit card then you will be accountable for the credit card fee.
ZELLE PAYMENTS (NO FEE) instructions:
Note: There is no link on our Website to initiate a Zelle payment from your bank. To make Zelle payments to LPSC, you will need to log into your bank app. Your spot is not officially confirmed until deposit has been received by LPSC.
After you have registered on our system, the website (Club express) will ask you to complete the registration. After clicking on the "Complete Registration" button a dialogue box will appear stating, "Your registration has been saved. Please select your payment options below." You can ignore this message and click on the "OK" button. Next, GO to the bottom of the page & click on the blue "Pay later" button. Another dialogue box will appear stating, "You have elected not to pay your pending charges immediately. Please note that your transaction(s) will not be complete until payment is received using one of the payment methods." Click on the "OK" button & Log off the computer.
Please note that your future logins to the Club express website might show a green dollar sign or ask you to make a payment. This dollar sign indicates payment due. Clicking on it will bring you to the payment screen. However, you will not be able to pay via Zelle at this screen. Instead, you must log into your bank app. Therefore, ignore the payment request. GO to the bottom of the page & click on the blue "Pay later" button. If you accidentally choose to submit your payment by Credit Card, then you will be charged the Convenience fee of 3.0% on the entire trip amount, excluding lift passes. There is absolutely no way to reverse this charge. ONLY CLICK ON THE "SUBMIT PAYMENT NOW" BUTTON IF YOU INTEND TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD.
During the sign up process you will be asked to provide the phone number or e-mail address associated with your Zelle account. Within 2 days of signing up for a trip our Treasurer will send you a Zelle payment request from PAYLPSC@GMAIL.COM Then you will have a day to accept & fulfill the payment request or risk losing your spot on the trip. The Treasurers will also send you a Zelle payment request on the date that your second and final payment is due. Again you will have a day to accept & fulfill the payment request or risk losing your spot on the trip. If you do not receive the Zelle request within 2 days of sign up or when your final payment is due, then e-mail the Treasurers at Treasurer@lincolnparkskiclub.org and CC the Trips Director at Trips@lincolnparkskiclub.org. If you prefer to pay the entire balance in advance, then please e-mail our Treasurers and CC our Trips Director.
Once your Zelle payment is posted to LPSC's bank account, our Treasurer will update your account on Club Express and mark that you have paid. At this point, the green dollar sign will disappear and your trip will be paid in full.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS instructions (You WILL INCUR a 3.0% FEE ON ENTIRE TRIP AMOUNT, excluding Lift passes.)
Credit cards are accepted for trip payments up to $3500 at a time. If you use a credit card, then you should have also selected the credit card fee amount when signing up for your trip. If you forgot to select this fee then the Trips Director will add it to your account. Unfortunately, our system is not smart enough to automatically add the fee. Also, once you use a credit card for the trip deposit, then use it for the final payment. The fee covers both payments.
After signing up for a trip and clicking on the "Complete Registration" button a dialogue box will appear stating, " Your registration has been saved. Please select your payment options below." If you want to pay by credit card, then click "OK" & select the credit card option from the drop down menu & enter your credit card info. Next click on the "Submit Payment" button at the bottom of the page.
If you pay by Credit Card (either intentionally or accidentally) then we will also charge you the Credit Card Convenience fee of 3.0% on the entire trip amount excluding lift passes. There is absolutely no way to reverse this charge. ONLY CLICK ON THE "SUBMIT PAYMENT NOW" BUTTON IF YOU INTEND TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD.
TERMS OF EARLY BIRD PAYMENTS (to get a $50 early bird discount)
In order to receive the early Bird payment you must pay a deposit of at least $500 (Vail = $1000). Then the remaining balance must be paid in full by the early bird date (which is much earlier than the regular payment date). Payments received after the required early bird due dates will result in regular pricing.
TERMS OF REGULAR PAYMENTS:
For regular pricing a deposit of approximately 50% - 55% of the trip price is due at sign up and the remaining balance is due on the Final Payment date. See Payment schedule on the Trip information page. Payments received after the required due dates may result in trip cancellation.
